Star Search is one of Alpha’s staple events for students, staff, and community members to witness the overwhelming talent at Alpha! Put on by the Offence, Alpha’s humanitarian club run by Mrs. Borders, this yearly talent show is always an entertaining night for the Alpha community. The event was hosted on February 16th. And this year’s ninth annual competition had a “Starry Night” theme. Members of the Offence ganged together to organize the event and decorate the small gym, transforming the gymnasium into a night sky.

On February 14th, Alpha spread the love in celebration of Valentine's Day! This year, Alpha’s Visual Arts Council (VAC) and Alpha`s Music Council hosted an amazing event called Crush On You offering paper roses and candies to students and staff. Not only was this idea unique and one of a kind, the flowers looked absolutely adorable and everybody loved them! VAC spent a lot of time creating these handmade flowers, each made with love, and they ended up looking fantastic! For only $2, you could send a loved one or a friend a paper rose and some chocolates. By Victor Yin. Photos by Danté Wong.
