Alpha Photojournalism requires a high-level of commitment; although you get to choose how much you'd like to do in the club, we still require our members to keep themselves updated, either through our online communication channels or by attending meetinfs. If at any time you no longer feel like you can maintain commitment, please let us know! There's no pressure and no hard feelings.
If your application is successfully approved, your Department Head will talk to you personally and you'll be able to figure out the best position for you! You may be required to submit a portfolio/work sample so we can best fit your needs.
You must make one contribution each issue to retain your position at Alpha Photojournalism.
Depending on your involvement, you must be willing to use or learn how to use Discord, Canva, and the Google Suite, including Google Docs, Google Drive, Google Sheets, etc, as this is the primary way we stay connected and organized.
If you have any questions at any time regarding your application or the application process, please email us at alphajournalism@gmail.com or through Instagram @alphajournalism.
