Literacy Week

​Every year alpha celebrates English literature by having literacy week from Tuesday April 18th to Friday April 21st. Literacy week has been a tradition here at Alpha for a number of years, featuring many fun activities! The activities were hosted in the library during the lunch hour of each day, along with a scavenger hunt that lasted throughout the whole week. The activities included jeopardy, scrabble, a spelling bee, and a Shakespeare quote recitation! Students who participated were given treats and students who recited a quote from Shakespeare got cake! Students and teachers already look forward to literacy week next year.
