With the official start of the holiday season comes Theatre Company’s first in-person show since 2019. Winter Cabaret featured iconic movie scenes, jazzy dance numbers, and a gaggle of talented singers and actors. Audiences were treated to Theatre’s engaging improv, and though the usual desserts were sorely missed, the experience of seeing art from (almost) all of the Alpha departments displayed was heartwarming. Theatre senior Audrey Allanson remarked that “It was a really nice evening which reminded everyone that the arts are alive and thriving … there’s lots of creativity and student involvement out there, and that is coming back.”
Directed by Ms. McAllister and created by the students, Winter Cabaret was a charming return to in person shows and a promising start to the winter season at Alpha!
